Our core service offering is Full Project Life Cycle engagements. All projects have their own personalities and a prescriptive project methodology does not exist that can assure project success. It is individuals that assure project success, and that is where we start. Our intention is not to engage with you by placing a team of consultants on the ground to manage all aspects of the project. Involvement at the origins of the project increases our value proposition. If the project involves a third party provider, we strongly encourage our clients to include us within the contract negotiation team. All too often, the contract gets signed with minimal detail included about the accountabilities or logistics of the project management discipline required to deliver the implementation. These are critical sections that can leave you accountable upon non or late delivery of a key milestone. We have a wealth of experience engaging in contract negotiations with the industry's largest IT outsourcers.

While we firmly believe that preventative steps can be taken to ensure that projects do not need to be rescued, we understand that many IT organizations find themselves in this unfortunate position with some initiatives. Success is dependent upon many factors, but our goal is to bring closure to these projects quickly as we assume that your costs(human and financial) have exceeded even a well intentioned buffer. By the time we turn the project around we will typically have or thoughts and opinions on how the project ended up in trouble, however, we will not waste your time or money focusing our efforts in this area. This keeps costs down for you and allows us to focus your team moving forward, rather than looking backward.
A Project Assessment is a 4 to 8 day engagement that we can conduct on projects in various stages of delivery. The goal is to provide you with our view on the health of the initiative from an unbiased outside perspective. During an assessment we focus our attention on several core elements that are essential for any project to meet its intended objectives. In addition we take input from project sponsors and key stakeholders so we can address the validity of any related concerns. The tangible result of an assessment is our documented project findings and recommendations presented in a formal briefing.
Many IT organizations have or intend to create a Project Management Office (PMO). Our PMO QuickStart is a service offering for either of these scenarios.
